This month’s giggle blog came flooding back to me earlier last month when after lunch my Mum whipped out a strawberry flan she’d made.
A few years ago I decided to make a strawberry flan. The base was good and ready and the strawberries where in position on the flan base so I ripped open the packet of jelly, snipped the cubes up and poured on the hot water. After a few seconds the jelly cubes had melted so I did the next natural thing…… I poured the whole lot over the flan base.
The jelly of course went straight through the soft, spongy flan base, over the plate it was sitting on, across work surface and on to the floor, its amazing really how far a pint of jelly can go!!
