Stocktaking

As well as being the start of the six weeks holidays this is a great time to take stock of the year so far. I don’t know about you but for me the next few months usually seem to fly by and before you know it it’s December, Christmas and time for re making new years resolutions.

So how are yours going? Kept them? Changed them? Or maybe you’ve added or remade a few.

I’ve added one in the form of a holistic therapy course, I love it, but it is tricky finding time to fit it in not to mention its been, ehemmm, a few years since I had to knuckle down and study.

The chairs I’ve been rejuvenating have hit a tricky patch, after sanding them down, under coating them and painting them the paint keeps coming off. Unfortunately I’ve been told they should have been primed as well. 😦  Also, I swear the paint was much lighter than that in the tin. Not sure what I’m going to do yet….Ikeas looking more and more attractive by the minute!!

My writing time has had to slow down a bit due to my college course, which means some of the dead lines I’d given myself have had to be re thought. For the next five and a bit months I’m going keep Robert Colliers quote in mind;

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
Robert Collier.
