I’ve been really busy today, I’ve had a rare day where I could write, it’s been lovely.

I’ve had bum in seat, laptop on knee and children at school, I didn’t even stop for lunch,Β  instead I just grabbed a delicious millionaires shortbread and carried on. The words where flowing and everything was going really well, then the laptop turned its self off for no reason mid sentence!

Let me tell you it was heart stopping. I did loose a few paragraphs but thankfully I’d been saving it periodically because, annoyingly my thumb keeps touching the mouse pad whilst I’m typing, sending the cursor all over the place. If I don’t notice in time it tends to cause a lot of mess, does this happen to anyone else?

On a different note we’re on the fun part with the chairs, two of them have had a splash of undercoat and I’ve started to send for fabric samples! πŸ™‚

How’s your week going?

  1. That happens to me on WordPress in the middle of typing a post! I have whole paragraphs disappear! Where in the world do you think they go? Where did you find that time to write? I need some! πŸ™‚

    • It was a lovely day off with nothing else planned in it but writing. Very rare I know and hard to get but once in a while it’s nice to be able to squeeze one in. πŸ™‚

  2. Yes, with the weather being too cold and wet for the garden I’ve been getting on with the novel. Or more, altering it as what I’ve written previously needs editing. I work on a computer, not a laptop, so don’t have the thumb problem. Great post, and look forward to seeing the finished result. Is that Laura Ashley fabric? I like it.

    • The fabrics are from John Lewis, but Laura Ashley is another favorite of mine. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait for the murky weather to shift it was so lovely getting a bit of sunshine a few weeks ago.
