I’ll Have One Of Those Please!

Ok it’s happened, my printers just printed its last. 😦

I knew it was going happen to sooner or later, recently we’d had to come to an agreement that the first three or four copies printed out were just tests and that blobbing could not be excused, the offending page or pages as it usually was would definitely have to be printed out again.

Now that it’s not working I naturally have lots and lots of things I need to print out, surely this must be some law of attraction? Thankfully my wonderful Mum has come to the rescue and has printed out everything I need, thank you Mum!

This leaves me with a “which printer shall I choose?” problem. Choosing a new printer is like going into a sweet shop, there are printers that scan, fax, print photos, photocopy not to mention just print.

My recently deceased printer was a simple print only printer, I quite fancy having a printer/scanner this time round and maybe a photocopy function would be useful…., and it would be nice to print the odd photo off when school demands one last minute.

When I’ve finally decided what I want my new printer to do the question will then be asked, “do you want a ink-jet, laser, LED/LCD or a dot-matrix printer?” I’ve got to say, I don’t know! I just want it to do a good job and have ink that isn’t so expensive I’ll cry if the children decide to print out half of the cbeebies website.

All these questions are the reason I’ve put off buying one for so long, now that it’s inevitable, wish me luck, I’ll let you know what I decide.

As it’s so cold I hope the picture warmed you all up a bit!

  1. I’ve just had to replace my Canon printer (which had been going strong for years) with a Canon printer/scanner which I love πŸ™‚ There’s so much choice though – it isn’t easy! Hope you get what you want πŸ™‚ x
