On Your Marks! Get Set! Write!

You may remember that on the 29th January 2013 I set myself a challenge, to write 30,000 words in March.

Now tomorrow is the beginning of March, am I ready? Am I excited? Am I raring to go? Yes I am actually. I haven’t exactly mapped out what I’m going to do each day, but I do have a good rough idea of how I hope March is going to be written up and to be honest  I can’t wait to get cracking.

I’m glad that I scheduled my challenge for March, because as promised February turned out to be a very busy month with my writing schedule practically ripped to shreds and my purse strings well and truly weeping. February has seen me with more trips to the vets and birthday parties than I had in the whole of last year, it’s never good is it when even the vet says, “ooh this’ll be an expensive one,” I mentally had to fix my poker face in place so that I didn’t look to horrified.

So with my writing challenge about to start, spring peeping round the corner and my lovely garden practically shouting my name, I feel March is going to be great.

So how was your February? Have you got any plans for March? I’d love to know. 🙂

  1. Ouch, Teapot, that vet’s bill sounds painful.
    But back to the writing…
You’ve set yourself a challenge with the 30,000 words in March, but breaking it down, it’s only 1,000 words a day. Now that sounds a lot more do-able, doesn’t it? Good luck with it. I’m looking forward to hearing how you get on. x

  2. Good luck with your challenge.

I’m joining you as I’m doing the 100k in 100 days (I’m lagging behind so hope to do more than 30,000 – I’ll see how it goes)
