Happy New Year!

I don’t know why, but I feel quite optimistic this year, I sat yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed watching the New Years Day concert whilst writing down my list of goals for the coming year.

Down on the list was;

1. Finishing my current children’s book,

2. Publishing my e-book

3. Try to write more, well that’s the plan anyway, hopefully by writing smarter, my grand plan? A time-table, I know time tables aren’t for everybody but to be honest, I love a good list. 🙂

4. I would like to get fitter this year too, I’m just not sure what to do yet running and the gym don’t really grab me and if it’s going to be a long-term habit it’s got to be fun,  I’ll let you know what I decide to do, in the mean time any suggestions would be welcome!

5. Totally none writing related, I would like to have a go at soap making, I looked in to it last year and never got round to it, if it works out well you know what’ll be for christmas next year, ha ha ha.

What about you, have you written any goals down? I’d love to hear about them if you have.

  1. It’s a great list.

    I haven’t made any resolutions and for some reason I’ve woken up to 2013 feeling pessimistic and glum! So if I were to make a resolution, it would be to try and cheer up!

    Look forward to seeing the photos of your soap 🙂 x

  2. I have a list of lists that I need to write for 2013 #superorganised.

    Good luck with the goals for this year.

    I’m giving the running, cycling and outdoor fitness a bash this year. Whatever you decide to do, keep it up, they say it gets easier (I haven’t got there yet – hopefully that will be next week!)
