Written in a cafe? I haven’t but I’ve always wanted to.
So I’ve decided that on Thursday, I’ll take myself off to the local cafe and try it out. I’ve got to say although I’ve always wanted to get out and about and write, the thought of actually doing it scares the life out of me.
Is it just me? I can’t be alone can I?
I don’t know why it scares me, maybe it’s the thought of being judged, or people wondering what I’m doing, I don’t know. What I do know is that I’m definitely going to try it out on Thursday, and of course I will have to sample the lovely hot chocolate they have…and maybe a bit of cake. I’ll let you know how I get on.
Is there anything you would like to do but have put off?
I absolutely love writing in my favourite cafe once a week and get so much written in half an hour with pen and paper. Was there this morning. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
Thank you, once a week sounds like a nice idea.
I have often written in a cafe. I usually have my laptop with me, so when I am waiting for a friend to turn up I whip out my computer and type away.
I find headphones help block out the back ground noise.
I love the idea of the headphones to block out back ground noise.
I must admit, I live the idea of writing from a cafe but in my town there are none with Wi-Fi that I know of or power. And the only one that is worth going as the prices are not daft doesn’t have either.
What stops me is the thought of paying for tea and whatever else when I have it all at home.
I wish there was a more writer friendly cafe in my town.
